Ingenstat Commercial Services

Ingenstat Renewables offers a wide variety of renewable construction and consultancy services. A typical project with Ingenstat Renewables will be comprised of the below steps and services:

Energy Assessment & Feasability Study

Project Design

Project Managment & Planning

Installation & Commissioning

Operations & Maintenance

Stage 1: Energy Assessment & Feasability Study

Installing commercial solar can be relatively straight forward. The process begins with an assessment of the energy profiles and requirements of your business. We evaluate a number of characteristics of your business including architectural, geographical, technical, and financial needs and limitations. We will also conduct a detailed assessment of your energy data and tariffs to establish the optimum sized system to provide you with greatest returns.

With years of industry experience and project delivery our consultation will enable us to make informed decisions on the best solar solution for you, while providing risk mitigation through an optimised and tailored solution which is aligned with your goals and expectations. Ingenstat will deliver an industry leading quality installation that benefits your business for the next 35 years.

System Finance

As part of our consultation we can develop various purchase packages for your business. These include the option to buy the project via extended payment plans under a hire purchase agreement, or zero upfront cost solutions through a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA). For more information on Project finance see 'More Info' below.

Ingenstat can also assess the viability of various bank and investment group green funding options for your business to improve your capital purchasing power for solar and renewable energy systems.

Stage 2: Design

Ingenstat provides top quality, comprehensive Project design services. We will generate satellite imagery based preliminary designs, conduct high resolution drone surveys of your property, generate 3D models of your building and the solar installation, and produce advanced simulations using industry leading software modelling packages.

Before installation you will see a a computer rendered model of your system inclusive of all components and tailored to your businesses' specific needs and architecture.

Our simulations and design will allow us to produce half hourly resolution data to compare with your current energy consumption to generate exact savings models for the most accurate financial modelling of the system.

Stage 3: Project Management & Planning

Drawing on years of experience and the delivery of numerous utility scale solar and onshore wind projects across the renewable energy sector, Ingenstat Renewables has a wealth of experience that will ensure your project runs flawlessly.

Procurement

Ingenstat has developed strong relationships with both UK based and international suppliers for all categories of renewable equipment. Our supply chain allows us to procure Tier 1 materials for installation on your project at industry leading prices, a key optimisation that is reflected back in your project quotation.

Ingenstat can procure equipment from a wide network of solar manufacturers. If you have preferences as to which brand of equipment is used on your Project, we can ensure that these brands are sourced and utilised. All our international suppliers are vetted for ethical manufacturing practices and materials supply.

Management & Programming

With many years of renewables project management experience across the team, our consultation and design services, along with our proactive management, will minimising risks to the project.

Each Project will be allocated a primary Project Manager (PM) who will act as the Project lead and be your direct line of communication. Your PM will conduct weekly update meetings during the construction period, and ensure any requests or needs are addressed.

Health & Safety

Heath & safety is a fundamental part of the delivery of every renewables project. All projects are delivered in compliance with all H&S and CDM regulations, ensuring that none of your staff are exposed to any potential H&S risk and that disturbance to your daily business operations is minimised. Risk assessments and safety equipment will be installed on site where required to mitigate or eliminate risks and H&S briefings provided to your business ahead of the start of the installation.

Ingenstat will conform with any H&S expectations on site and early engagement with your H&S representative ensures we mitigates risk and the project runs smoothly.

Stage 4: Installation & Commissioning

Logistics & Deliveries

We carefully manage the logistics for delivering all materials and equipment to your site. This includes coordinating with suppliers, scheduling timely deliveries, and ensuring everything arrives as planned. Once on-site, our team handles and stores all materials securely to prevent damage and maintain a smooth installation process.

Mechanical Installation

Our team of experienced engineers will first install the mechanical components of the system; including all access systems, additional security measures, module mounting systems and cable trays. Stringing of the DC cables will then be completed from the rooftop to the point of connection, panels fitted to the mounting system, and mechanical quality control checks completed.

Electrical Installation

While the mechanical installation is underway, the electrical installation will begin with the mounting of the inverters, export power management systems, and integration into the site's point of connection. Once the DC cables are pulled and connected to the modules, they can be terminated into the inverters.

Testing & Commissioning

Once all the DC cables have been terminated into the inverters, testing of the systems characteristics will begin to ensure that the project is operating as expected and in compliance with the conditions of the grid connection offer. Once all tests are validated the system will be commissioned and start generating power for your property.

Stage 5: Operations & Maintenance

Our operations and maintenance services include a comprehensive range of activities to keep your solar system running smoothly.

After commissioning, we will issue an operations and maintenance manual which will include information such as user manuals, manufacturer information, datasheets, safety and decommissioning.

We will also have a data logging system which will allow the client to see a detailed analysis of how the system is performing on an hourly basis.

You can engage with us on an ad hoc basis, or set up a regular system health check schedule where we will visit at advised intervals to check up on your system.

We provide the following services to ensure that your solar farm runs at optimal performance:

- Fault and performance monitoring

- Routine mechanical and electrical inspections

- Module cleaning services

- Repairs & Replacements

- Technical support and consultation
